Lori (Endicott) Vandersnick - Our Head Coach - Lori played for the USA National Team for eight years and competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, the USA women finished third, and Lori was named the BEST SETTER in the world. Lori played six years for the Willard Schools, Springfield Junior Volleyball Club in 1984 and 1985, and continued her volleyball career at the University of Nebraska where she was a two time All American. Lori is a tremendous competitor with outstanding volleyball skills. She was voted to the USA Volle yball All-Era Team and received the 2005 Flo Hyman All Time Great Player Award. Lori is also the head coach for the Community Olympic Development Program (CODP). In her tenth year with SJVC she coached the 16Blue and finished third in the 2009 Junior Olympic Nationals. Lori coached our 2011 18Blue team to a 13th place finish in the National Division at Nationals. Lori is available for private lessons.
Trish Kissiar-Knight is a native of Licking Missouri where she was a member of the first team to win a Missouri State Volleyball Championship. She chose to play at Missouri State University for legendary volleyball coach, Linda Dollar. The Volleybears were one of the top college volleyball programs in the country. Upon gradation, Trish took the head coaching postion at West Plains High School. The Zizzers won 4 consecutive 4A State Championships in 1984, 85, 86, and 87. In 1993 Missouri State University-West Plains started a junior college volleyball program and Trish took on the challenge of building the program from scratch. The Grizzlies quickly became a premier junior college volleyball program. Highlights of her career include: 1992 Induction into the Missour State University Athletic Hall of Fame, 2000 & 2002 AVCA/Tachikara Two-Year College-Midwest Coach of the Year, 2005 USA Today Weekend Magazine Most Caring Coach Award, 2005 Inductee into the NJCAA Hall of Fame, 2008 Indcutee into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, 2009 Inductee into the Missouri State University-West Plains Hall of Fame. Trish coached 16Blue to an 18th place finish (National Division) at Nationals in 2011. She is coaching our 18Blue team in 2012.
Cara Hackman High School: St. Francis Borgia (Four year starter): State Champions 2004, 2nd Place - 2005 College: Missouri State University (Four year starter): Conference Champs 2008, NCAA Tournament Appearances 2007,2008,2010, Libero and Defensive player of the year, Missouri Valley Conferece in 2009, CVU.com Libero of the year, 2009. Position experience: Middle, Outside, Opposite, Libero. Club coaching: St. Louis CYC (2 years: 16, 17's), Southwest Illinois Club (SWIC: 18's) (1 year), Team Missouri (18's) - 13th place finish in Open. Cara is coaching our 17Blue team in 2012.
Krystal (Glessner) Allen – Krystal graduated from Drury University with a degree in marketing. She started playing Volleyball in 4th grade, continued at Republic, where her high school team took 3rd at the State Volleyball Championships her senior year. She also played on Republic's Basketball team that placed 1st at the State Championships her sophomore year. She is coaching two 7th grade recreational teams at Republic. This is Krystal's 4th year as a coach with SJVC. She coached our 16Red, 2011, and is coaching 17Red in 2012.
April DeCoste - April played at Georgia State University, where she broke the school assist record, and is an NCAA Individual Record Holder - 2nd Player in NCAA 30 point era to reach 5000-1000 assist, digs mark. In high school, playing for Scarborough Titans Volleyball Club, she was chosen to represent Ontario at Canadian Nationals as the starting Libero. She competed in six Canadian Nationals and was five time MVP of her team. April earned her Master of Business Administration at West Virginia Wesleyan College, and was Head Coach two years, and taught Physical Education there. April was Assistant Women's Coach at North Atlanta Volleyball Club, Head Women's Coach at Scarborough Titans Volleyball Club. April coached 17Red, 2009. Her job took her to Florida in 2010, and she coached the 15Blue team in 2011. April is coaching our 16Blue team in 2012.
Kayla Hellebusch –Drury University Graduate, 2011 after earning a degree in Marketing/Management. Kayla played four years at Drury where she led the team and GLVC conference in aces. She played for Washington High School where the team took 4th at State her junior year and 3rd her senior year in 4A division.  Coached CODP, 2011 for Lori Endicott-Vandersnick, was Assistant Coach for Springfield Juniors 2011. Kayla is coaching our 16Red team in 2012.
Fritz Rosenberg - Fritz Rosenberg joined the Missouri State volleyball coaching staff April 8, 2011, after spending the 2010 season as an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. where last season, he helped the Wildcats (17-14) to the NCAA Tournament while coaching SEC Libero of the Year Stephanie Klefot and AVCA All-American middle blocker Lauren Rapp, who helped UK rank second in the SEC in blocks per set.  Fritz was an assistant coach at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he assisted with all aspects of a program that finished third place in the Mid-Central Conference and carried the highest team GPA of any USF program. He spent 2006-09 associated with the men's and women's club teams Ball State University, earning a degree in sports administration with a business minor in 2008. With Rosenberg as the co-head coach of the women's team, Ball State amassed a 108-6 overall record and three top-five national finishes in three seasons, earning Rosenberg a NIRSA National Co-Head Coach of the Year award in 2008. On the men's side, Rosenberg served as head coach, president and player, helping the Cardinals improve to 35-16 overall in 2008 after finishing 2-38 in 2005, before Fritz. In addition to his collegiate playing and coaching experience, Rosenberg tutored four future Division I players as an assistant at Plainfield (Ill.) North High School in 2008, and served as an assistant at Muncie (Ind.) Central High in 2006 and 2007, helping that squad to a state runner-up finish in 2006 and No. 1 state ranking in 2007.  Fritz has extensive summer camp and club coaching experience, including time at clinics run by Notre Dame, Kentucky, Missouri State and Indiana, as well as Asics Munciana, Club Fusion and Molten Volleyball. At the juniors level Rosenberg spent 3 seasons at national powerhouse Asics Munciana Club which included a fifth-place finish at the 2010 AAU Championship with his 17U team. This will be his 7th season coaching junior club volleyball. Fritz is coaching our 15Blue team.
Joanna Hayes - Joanna played at Missouri Southern State College 4 years, earning All-Conference and All District honors and at Central High School (took 2nd at State Championships). She received ‘player- coach of the year' in 1984. She got to play with “the worlds best setter (at that time), Debbie Green, in 1984, was the Head Volleyball coach at Central High School for 12 years, Monett 7 years and is currently the Freshman Coach at Ozark High School. The freshmen team under Joanna has accumulated a 140-5 record the last five years (54-0 the last three). Joanna played USAV for about 17 years. She has two daughters, both SJVC alums: Aleah, a sophomore at Texas Tech (Lubbock) and Jade, who is graduating high school in December, 2010 and will attend and play volleyball for University of Missouri (Columbia) starting in January, 2011. Joanna is in her ninth year with us having taken 13Blue to Nationals in Salt Lake City, Utah 2005, 14Blue to Nationals Atlanta, Georgia 2006, 15Blue to Nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota 2007. She has attended many, many coaching clinics (USA, High performance, Nebraska, etc). It seems to have been a good investment. Joanna's team finished in 5th place in Indianapolis, AAU Nationals in Orlando, 2008 finishing 17th of 94 teams. She coached 17Blue, 2009, making it back to Nationals in Miami, coached 12Blue, 2010, (team finished 9th in the National Division after a 25th seeding). She coached our 13Blue team to a 9th place finish (National Division) at Nationals in 2011. In 2012, Joanna is coaching 14Blue.
Susan Patterson - 22 years coaching experience, having coached at all levels, 6th grade through varsity, has been involved in volleyball as a player for 33 years, attended College of the Ozarks receiving all-conference, all-district, and Academic-Volleyball All-American awards. Susan coached for Lebanon for 13 years (3 at the Junior High and 10 at the High School). During that time Lebanon won 10 District Titles, 6 Conference Titles, 2 Sectional Titles along with two appearances at the Final Four at the MSHSAA State Championships. After coaching in Oregon for two years, Susan is back at Lebanon as the Varsity Coach, where her team has won two District titles, with one of them resulting in being state quarter finalists and one Sectional title in the past three years with an overall record 74-23. Susan coached 15Blue to 1st in Regionals and 9th overall (1st in Silver) at Nationals 2008 season. She coached our 15Blue, 2010. They won Indy to secure bid to Nationals. They finished 5th at Nationals and had three players on the All Tournament Team, Maris Below, Kickapoo, Sarah Kreul, Republic and Jessye Maurer, Kickapoo. Susan is served as head coach for our 12Blue and assistant coach for our 16Blue in 2011. She is coaching 13Blue in 2012.
Jessica Smythe - Jessica is a junior at Evangel University and plays right side. She attended Reeds Spring High School and was on the first school team ever to go to the State Volleyball Championships, where they finished 3rd. Jessica has been playing volleyball since 5th grade. She wants to teach her teams two very important things: teamwork and communication! Jessica coached our 11s team, 2008. She coached our 12Blue, co-coaching with Mike Lipasek, to 3rd at Regionals and a spot in Miami in the National Championships in 2009. She coached our 12Red, 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Jessica is coaching 13Red.
Brandi Bockman - Brandi played four years of varsity for Liberty High School in Mountain View, MO as middle hitter. She received All-District Honorable Mention and 2nd team All-Conference in 2001, 1st team All-District and 1st team All-Conference in 2002. She broke the school record for most blocks and most kills her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Brandi started playing juniors in the 6th grade for the Grizzlies in West Plains and continued through her junior year of high school. She also played in college for Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO as middle and outside. She coached elementary volleyball in high school and juniors for the Tri-County Talons 11's in 2008. Brandi coached our 11s, 2009, our 14Blue in 2010 and 12White in 2011. Brandi is coaching 11Blue in 2012.
Ryan Lacson - Ryan played four years at Marquette High School in Chesterfield, MO, as well as club ball for Express VBC and Missouri Thunder VBC. He restarted the SMS Men's Volleyball team for which he played and coached four years, and also played for SWAT VBC. This is Ryan's 11th year coaching juniors, and his 7th year with SJVC. He served as assistant coach at Parkview High School from 2005-2008, and at Republic High School from 2008-2011. Ryan is also a USAV CAP-II certified coach who has been published in both USA Volleyball Magazine and the AVCA's Coaching Volleyball Magazine. In addition to his involvement as a coach and player, Ryan is a USAV Junior National Referee, PAVO Referee, Regional Scorekeeper, and is a member of the HOA WeR1 Cadre. Ryan also serves on the Heart of America Board of Directors as the Director of Junior Development. Ryan is also heavily involved with improving the level of men's volleyball in Southwest Missouri; he has worked with the Springfield Park Board to run men's volleyball leagues and boys' volleyball clinics, and served as the head boys coach for the first CODP boys volleyball program. Ryan coached our 12BOYS team in 2011, and is organizing two boys' teams (13s and 12s) for 2012.
Sandi Podorski - Sandi has been with Springfield Juniors since its beginning (started by Linda Dollar) in1984. She became Club Director in 1987. This is her 27th year with the club, 24th as Director. Two married daughters, their husbands and two grandsons, 8 and 6 (Dewayne and Jerry) are her family. Grandchildren are the most wonderful gifts of getting older.
Sarah Marshall-Roberts - Sarah played volleyball four years at Willard High School, and two years at MSU. Sarah serves as a substitute coach for SJVC when needed. She is in charge of our referee and scorekeeper clinics; Sarah is a (former) Jr. National, and current college and high school referee. She assists with administrative tasks and serves as a Court Manager at SJVC home tournaments. Sarah is also our webmaster. Sarah was named MSHSAA Official of the Year in Volleyball in 2010.
